Dr Fleur Fisher

Dr Fisher is Director of Devon- based Healthcare-ethics Consultancy, with a particular focus on the confidentiality of identifiable personal records. Most recently (1991- 1996) she has been the Head of Ethics Science and Information for the British Medical Association, and their media spokesperson on personal record confidentiality. Dr Fisher also led the BMA campaign on confidentiality of medical records.

Dr Fishers current appointments include being the Vice-Chair of International HIV/AIDS Alliance and Trustee of the Medical Foundation for AIDS and Sexual Health (MedFASH) and Privacy International. In 2002, Dr Fisher was awarded a DSc by University of Westminster.
